weekend ░░░░░░░░ it is all about ░░░░░░░░ UPS driver and 18 ░░░░░░░░ old kaleb lampert Dave ░░░░░░░░ to make a difference ░░░░░░░░ his final days at ░░░░░░░░ before retirement and on ░░░░░░░░ route in franktown Colorado ░░░░░░░░ did just that Dave ░░░░░░░░ kaleb along his route ░░░░░░░░ to give him a ░░░░░░░░ in a lifetime experience ░░░░░░░░ an honorary UPS driver ░░░░░░░░ Dave got kaleb his ░░░░░░░░ uniform even let him ░░░░░░░░ the horn in brown ░░░░░░░░ truck that passes each ░░░░░░░░ Joining us now is ░░░░░░░░ kaleb and kaleb s ░░░░░░░░ Nicole We re delighted ░░░░░░░░ have all three of ░░░░░░░░ Thank you for joining ░░░░░░░░ Dave I want to ░░░░░░░░ with you Tell us ░░░░░░░░ when you first met ░░░░░░░░ and how your interactions ░░░░░░░░ Yeah I met kaleb ░░░░░░░░ his house I was ░░░░░░░░ packages Hi kaleb And ░░░░░░░░ was out front in ░░░░░░░░ soft blue helmet and ░░░░░░░░ recognize that because my ░░░░░░░░ came and had similar ░░░░░░░░ issues like that And ░░░░░░░░ the delivery kaleb and ░░░░░░░░ were talking and he ░░░░░░░░ said I like your ░░░░░░░░ And that s how ░░░░░░░░ got started and we ░░░░░░░░ been friends ever since ░░░░░░░░ s really wonderful And ░░░░░░░░ you ve told us ░░░░░░░░ kaleb reminded you of ░░░░░░░░ own late son camen ░░░░░░░░ as well and he ░░░░░░░░ Yeah my son camen ░░░░░░░░ the end of may ░░░░░░░░ year 2021 after a ░░░░░░░░ And same seizure he ░░░░░░░░ seizures during sleep at ░░░░░░░░ and after this one ░░░░░░░░ just didn t make ░░░░░░░░ Dave we are so ░░░░░░░░ for your loss I ░░░░░░░░ imagine what you are ░░░░░░░░ through but I thank ░░░░░░░░ for being here with ░░░░░░░░ and supporting the community ░░░░░░░░ you Nicole and kaleb ░░░░░░░░ was it like for ░░░░░░░░ when you met Mr ░░░░░░░░ One of kaleb s ░░░░░░░░ friends Well Mr Dave ░░░░░░░░ became in fact he ░░░░░░░░ him my friend Mr ░░░░░░░░ He just is so ░░░░░░░░ every time Mr David ░░░░░░░░ come to our house ░░░░░░░░ s great What was ░░░░░░░░ like when Mr Dave ░░░░░░░░ kaleb an honorary UPS ░░░░░░░░ for the day What ░░░░░░░░ of things did kaleb ░░░░░░░░ to do Well he ░░░░░░░░ up He got to ░░░░░░░░ his uniform on which ░░░░░░░░ so exciting for him ░░░░░░░░ he got to go ░░░░░░░░ and look at the ░░░░░░░░ up close His favorite ░░░░░░░░ was he got to ░░░░░░░░ around the building several ░░░░░░░░ in the truck with ░░░░░░░░ David And then after ░░░░░░░░ they brought the truck ░░░░░░░░ our house and kaleb ░░░░░░░░ able to deliver packages ░░░░░░░░ his brothers And there ░░░░░░░░ even a package for ░░░░░░░░ It was just such ░░░░░░░░ special day and he ░░░░░░░░ talks about it all ░░░░░░░░ time He tells everyone ░░░░░░░░ sees he got to ░░░░░░░░ it around and around ░░░░░░░░ Mr David This is ░░░░░░░░ wonderful And so Dave ░░░░░░░░ hear what this trip ░░░░░░░░ for kaleb What did ░░░░░░░░ moment mean for you ░░░░░░░░ able to have kaleb ░░░░░░░░ the It meant the ░░░░░░░░ to me to building ░░░░░░░░ wanted to do this ░░░░░░░░ camen but to have ░░░░░░░░ at the building and ░░░░░░░░ all the brown trucks ░░░░░░░░ for him to get ░░░░░░░░ in the truck sit ░░░░░░░░ the driver seat start ░░░░░░░░ engine honk the horn ░░░░░░░░ driver around the building ░░░░░░░░ have all the other ░░░░░░░░ and managers out there ░░░░░░░░ and applauding him for ░░░░░░░░ an honorary UPS driver ░░░░░░░░ the day it was ░░░░░░░░ special Kaleb and I ░░░░░░░░ going to remember this ░░░░░░░░ Nicole how did it ░░░░░░░░ you feel as a ░░░░░░░░ Super proud I imagine ░░░░░░░░ definitely And so very ░░░░░░░░ And so very thankful ░░░░░░░░ Dave and UPS for ░░░░░░░░ this day happen for ░░░░░░░░ He ll be talking ░░░░░░░░ this for the rest ░░░░░░░░ his life Other drivers ░░░░░░░░ even Dave what would ░░░░░░░░ say to corporations because ░░░░░░░░ had to be flexible ░░░░░░░░ m assuming with your ░░░░░░░░ about this So why ░░░░░░░░ companies why is it ░░░░░░░░ that companies really take ░░░░░░░░ part in granting wishes ░░░░░░░░ these and being integral ░░░░░░░░ of the communities they ░░░░░░░░ I think it s ░░░░░░░░ important for everybody to ░░░░░░░░ a part of this ░░░░░░░░ we see a person ░░░░░░░░ kaleb or anybody else ░░░░░░░░ s just looking at ░░░░░░░░ and watching you they ░░░░░░░░ to talk to you ░░░░░░░░ take the time to ░░░░░░░░ go say hi And ░░░░░░░░ could lead into a ░░░░░░░░ and more as you ░░░░░░░░ with this story And ░░░░░░░░ was so good about ░░░░░░░░ allowing us to do ░░░░░░░░ for kaleb And it ░░░░░░░░ be so nice for ░░░░░░░░ companies to have the ░░░░░░░░ to put something like ░░░░░░░░ on for other kids ░░░░░░░░ people too Away or ░░░░░░░░ of them anyway is ░░░░░░░░ I m assuming that ░░░░░░░░ take that it s ░░░░░░░░ important to make time ░░░░░░░░ for moments like this ░░░░░░░░ yeah That s what ░░░░░░░░ is just take the
