Sen. Rand Paul Renews Call to Audit the Federal Reserve

“I rise today in ░░░░░░░░ to secrecy in opposition ░░░░░░░░ the veil of secrecy ░░░░░░░░ cloaks the money changing ░░░░░░░░ takes place in the ░░░░░░░░ of the Federal Reserve ░░░░░░░░ the money changes hands ░░░░░░░░ moneyed class gets richer ░░░░░░░░ the middle class gets ░░░░░░░░ It is more than ░░░░░░░░ to put the curtain ░░░░░░░░ part the curtain that ░░░░░░░░ the trillions of dollars ░░░░░░░░ change hands There is ░░░░░░░░ revolving door from Wall ░░░░░░░░ to the Treasury to ░░░░░░░░ Fed and back again ░░░░░░░░ have former Secretaries of ░░░░░░░░ who go from government ░░░░░░░░ Wall Street pocketing hundreds ░░░░░░░░ millions of dollars I ░░░░░░░░ called repeatedly for transparency ░░░░░░░░ the Federal Reserve so ░░░░░░░░ can see what is ░░░░░░░░ done with their money ░░░░░░░░ Every time I call ░░░░░░░░ transparency people from both ░░░░░░░░ have said transparency would ░░░░░░░░ Fed independence The problem ░░░░░░░░ Congress created the Fed ░░░░░░░░ Congress was intended to ░░░░░░░░ oversight over the Fed ░░░░░░░░ as time has gone ░░░░░░░░ we ve lost that ░░░░░░░░ so independence has really ░░░░░░░░ to abuse Some say ░░░░░░░░ oh the Fed is ░░░░░░░░ audited each year The ░░░░░░░░ general who is responsible ░░░░░░░░ auditing the Fed came ░░░░░░░░ Congress in 2009 and ░░░░░░░░ s what she had ░░░░░░░░ say during question and ░░░░░░░░ at a House committee ░░░░░░░░ congressman asked What are ░░░░░░░░ you done to investigate ░░░░░░░░ off balance sheet transactions ░░░░░░░░ by the Federal Reserve ░░░░░░░░ according to Bloomberg now ░░░░░░░░ 9 trillion in eight ░░░░░░░░ She fumbled she repeated ░░░░░░░░ looked silly and then ░░░░░░░░ said You know I ░░░░░░░░ it may be important ░░░░░░░░ this point to yada ░░░░░░░░ yada Then several yadas ░░░░░░░░ this bombshell We do ░░░░░░░░ have the jurisdiction this ░░░░░░░░ the auditor we do ░░░░░░░░ have the jurisdiction to ░░░░░░░░ go out and audit ░░░░░░░░ reserve bank So really ░░░░░░░░ is no audit to ░░░░░░░░ Federal Reserve So don ░░░░░░░░ let anybody tell you ░░░░░░░░ we already have an ░░░░░░░░ No meaningful audit of ░░░░░░░░ Fed exists and when ░░░░░░░░ primary auditor and overseer ░░░░░░░░ the Fed was asked ░░░░░░░░ 9 trillion the inspector ░░░░░░░░ no clue what had ░░░░░░░░ purchased with the money ░░░░░░░░ there a chance that ░░░░░░░░ Fed only has our ░░░░░░░░ interests at heart Sure ░░░░░░░░ when trillions of dollars ░░░░░░░░ hands wouldn t you ░░░░░░░░ to know who got ░░░░░░░░ money and did anyone ░░░░░░░░ themselves in the process ░░░░░░░░ trillion dollars is over ░░░░░░░░ our entire national debt ░░░░░░░░ is money that ultimately ░░░░░░░░ debt for all of ░░░░░░░░ It s being doled ░░░░░░░░ in secret by our ░░░░░░░░ bank This is in ░░░░░░░░ sense laundering money from ░░░░░░░░ American people to bail ░░░░░░░░ big banks and Wall ░░░░░░░░
