SCIUTTO It s an ░░░░░░░░ battle it s going ░░░░░░░░ take place in state ░░░░░░░░ it s going to ░░░░░░░░ place in courts as ░░░░░░░░ but Alice Stewart we ░░░░░░░░ what the potential could ░░░░░░░░ like in 2020 right ░░░░░░░░ mean you had two ░░░░░░░░ of House Republicans vote ░░░░░░░░ to certify election results ░░░░░░░░ key swing states the ░░░░░░░░ of the night of ░░░░░░░░ January 6th insurrection and ░░░░░░░░ just wonder of course ░░░░░░░░ didn t have a ░░░░░░░░ to do that democrats ░░░░░░░░ a majority should we ░░░░░░░░ the possibility that the ░░░░░░░░ time around such an ░░░░░░░░ could be successful Right ░░░░░░░░ Republicans win back the ░░░░░░░░ in 2022 and they ░░░░░░░░ willing to do that ░░░░░░░░ that vote if two ░░░░░░░░ of House Republicans were ░░░░░░░░ to make that vote ░░░░░░░░ a night of insurrection ░░░░░░░░ based on false claims ░░░░░░░░ we setting up for ░░░░░░░░ possibility of 2024 that ░░░░░░░░ could see them do ░░░░░░░░ with the majority and ░░░░░░░░ to seat refuse to ░░░░░░░░ those electors STEWART I ░░░░░░░░ don t believe that ░░░░░░░░ happen Look I think ░░░░░░░░ are many in the ░░░░░░░░ Party who for some ░░░░░░░░ wanted to question the ░░░░░░░░ of the election and ░░░░░░░░ for some crazy reason ░░░░░░░░ that Donald Trump still ░░░░░░░░ the election but that ░░░░░░░░ not the case We ░░░░░░░░ free and fair elections ░░░░░░░░ Biden won Donald Trump ░░░░░░░░ And look I think ░░░░░░░░ s important for people ░░░░░░░░ realize that these elections ░░░░░░░░ run by well meaning ░░░░░░░░ hearted people on the ░░░░░░░░ level I served as ░░░░░░░░ secretary of state these ░░░░░░░░ Republicans and Democrats in ░░░░░░░░ local areas run these ░░░░░░░░ fairly and accurately and ░░░░░░░░ take great pride in ░░░░░░░░ and I think questioning ░░░░░░░░ certification of elections is ░░░░░░░░ insult to election workers ░░░░░░░░ the country And when ░░░░░░░░ go to vote they ░░░░░░░░ to have the confidence ░░░░░░░░ their vote will count ░░░░░░░░ someone that just because ░░░░░░░░ re upset about the ░░░░░░░░ of the election is ░░░░░░░░ to challenge it I ░░░░░░░░ is wrong I think ░░░░░░░░ most important thing we ░░░░░░░░ do is instill confidence ░░░░░░░░ the election process and ░░░░░░░░ sure that people want ░░░░░░░░ go out and vote ░░░░░░░░ their candidate of choice ░░░░░░░░ may the best man ░░░░░░░░
