Harry Reid: We Better Be Very Careful in Saying that We Need to Expand SCOTUS

RUSH TRANSCRIPT I want ░░░░░░░░ ask you this I ░░░░░░░░ something sort of thought ░░░░░░░░ came out of the ░░░░░░░░ Administration this past week ░░░░░░░░ didn t get a ░░░░░░░░ of attention because there ░░░░░░░░ so much going on ░░░░░░░░ the news He s ░░░░░░░░ created a commission to ░░░░░░░░ at adding seats to ░░░░░░░░ Supreme Court other ideas ░░░░░░░░ some Progressives are pushing ░░░░░░░░ They want to see ░░░░░░░░ court s conservative majority ░░░░░░░░ balanced Where do you ░░░░░░░░ on that Do you ░░░░░░░░ it s a good ░░░░░░░░ to add seats to ░░░░░░░░ Supreme Court I think ░░░░░░░░ should be very very ░░░░░░░░ in doing so I ░░░░░░░░ no problem with the ░░░░░░░░ But I think that ░░░░░░░░ commission is going to ░░░░░░░░ back and disappoint a ░░░░░░░░ of people because I ░░░░░░░░ they re going to ░░░░░░░░ back and say we ░░░░░░░░ just kind of leave ░░░░░░░░ alone I think it ░░░░░░░░ be inappropriate at this ░░░░░░░░ after the long history ░░░░░░░░ have in the country ░░░░░░░░ have term limits for ░░░░░░░░ I think we better ░░░░░░░░ very very careful in ░░░░░░░░ that we need to ░░░░░░░░ the Supreme Court I ░░░░░░░░ we better be very ░░░░░░░░ careful Okay Former Senate ░░░░░░░░ leader Harry Reid I ░░░░░░░░ some people might be ░░░░░░░░ to hear you say ░░░░░░░░ because you were definitely ░░░░░░░░ fighter when you were ░░░░░░░░ the Senate and liked ░░░░░░░░ take it to the ░░░░░░░░ side But it sounds ░░░░░░░░ you re urging caution ░░░░░░░░ forward in that regard ░░░░░░░░ me say one thing ░░░░░░░░ filibuster is on its ░░░░░░░░ out It s not ░░░░░░░░ question if It s ░░░░░░░░ question when You cannot ░░░░░░░░ a democracy that makes ░░░░░░░░ of the vote And ░░░░░░░░ it s only a ░░░░░░░░ of time until a ░░░░░░░░ goes away All right ░░░░░░░░ Reid we ll see ░░░░░░░░ that happens Thanks so ░░░░░░░░ We appreciate that And ░░░░░░░░ back and join us ░░░░░░░░ time.
