really certainly ░░░░░░░░ Biden mentioned it and ░░░░░░░░ news doubling down on ░░░░░░░░ goal now of 200 ░░░░░░░░ shots as opposed to ░░░░░░░░ million shots and questions ░░░░░░░░ the pandemic even as ░░░░░░░░ administration is touting the ░░░░░░░░ relief package reporters should ░░░░░░░░ be asking particularly about ░░░░░░░░ equitable response to this ░░░░░░░░ while we know that ░░░░░░░░ third of the country ░░░░░░░░ gotten one dose of ░░░░░░░░ vaccine and more than ░░░░░░░░ in 10 Americans are ░░░░░░░░ fully vaccinated we know ░░░░░░░░ the rollout has not ░░░░░░░░ equitable and while that governor ░░░░░░░░ Georgia decided to prove ░░░░░░░░ right essentially by signing ░░░░░░░░ heinous new voting restriction ░░░░░░░░ law As you may ░░░░░░░░ seen in the last ░░░░░░░░ black voters matter are ░░░░░░░░ Georgia secretary Brad Raffensperger ░░░░░░░░ it violates the Voting ░░░░░░░░ Act and the 14th ░░░░░░░░ From your perspective Katie ░░░░░░░░ this lawsuit have legs ░░░░░░░░ has teeth want just ░░░░░░░░ It s a great ░░░░░░░░ brought to federal court ░░░░░░░░ by a group of ░░░░░░░░ that you have standing ░░░░░░░░ that s usually a ░░░░░░░░ issue in any type ░░░░░░░░ lawsuit but let s ░░░░░░░░ the reality and why ░░░░░░░░ s great that it ░░░░░░░░ being brought and that ░░░░░░░░ s attacking Georgia law ░░░░░░░░ s no coincidence guys ░░░░░░░░ Georgia is in the ░░░░░░░░ seat for this as ░░░░░░░░ back as 1871 Georgia ░░░░░░░░ the very first state ░░░░░░░░ enact a poll tax ░░░░░░░░ s why Georgia is ░░░░░░░░ the watchful eye of ░░░░░░░░ federal government to make ░░░░░░░░ that they don t ░░░░░░░░ and infringe upon its ░░░░░░░░ rights like voting That ░░░░░░░░ why the 14th amendments ░░░░░░░░ and why there is ░░░░░░░░ voter rights act I ░░░░░░░░ to caution people in ░░░░░░░░ the United States Supreme ░░░░░░░░ in Shelby versus holder ░░░░░░░░ county versus holder got ░░░░░░░░ of what we call ░░░░░░░░ clearance requirements and states ░░░░░░░░ Georgia were able to ░░░░░░░░ to ░░░░░░░░ was able to do ░░░░░░░░ You know what We ░░░░░░░░ a new attorney general ░░░░░░░░ Garland he can bring ░░░░░░░░ lawsuit and I think ░░░░░░░░ will on behalf of ░░░░░░░░ Department of Justice as ░░░░░░░░ to attack this new ░░░░░░░░ suppression bill that just ░░░░░░░░ enacted in Georgia So ░░░░░░░░ let me ask you ░░░░░░░░ you and I have ░░░░░░░░ about this this is ░░░░░░░░ home state of Georgia ░░░░░░░░ they are acting a ░░░░░░░░ and they are not ░░░░░░░░ about targeting black voters ░░░░░░░░ and liberal voters How ░░░░░░░░ of an impact do ░░░░░░░░ think this will have ░░░░░░░░ mid terms because a ░░░░░░░░ of this is about ░░░░░░░░ potential challenge with Stacy ░░░░░░░░ in 2022 and they ░░░░░░░░ clearly targeting senator Rafael ░░░░░░░░ How much of an ░░░░░░░░ will they have on legislation that ░░░░░░░░ criminalizing and giving out ░░░░░░░░ and water Just as ░░░░░░░░ is meant to have ░░░░░░░░ chilling effect on black ░░░░░░░░ what you may also ░░░░░░░░ is it having a ░░░░░░░░ effect on voters that ░░░░░░░░ exactly what this is ░░░░░░░░ are going to do ░░░░░░░░ they have long been ░░░░░░░░ in Georgia which is ░░░░░░░░ this a battle between ░░░░░░░░ suppression and voter turnout ░░░░░░░░ Just really quickly before ░░░░░░░░ move on I want ░░░░░░░░ ask you because you ░░░░░░░░ on campaigns and what ░░░░░░░░ the ground game to ░░░░░░░░ these voter suppression efforts ░░░░░░░░ 10 successes You have ░░░░░░░░ get out the vote ░░░░░░░░ this is exactly in ░░░░░░░░ playbook 2018 they did ░░░░░░░░ In 2020 Democrats wiped ░░░░░░░░ floor with Republicans and ░░░░░░░░ s kind of a ░░░░░░░░ playbook I can t ░░░░░░░░ they re going back ░░░░░░░░ it You re right ░░░░░░░░ want to shift gears ░░░░░░░░ little bit because Twitter ░░░░░░░░ a hero when Chrissy
