DOUGHERTY We stand now ░░░░░░░░ front of a patrol ░░░░░░░░ that when we met ░░░░░░░░ you on Tuesday you ░░░░░░░░ see it clearly And ░░░░░░░░ you see today how ░░░░░░░░ flowers are placed here ░░░░░░░░ go to King Soopers ░░░░░░░░ see the flowers and ░░░░░░░░ that have been set ░░░░░░░░ there That support for ░░░░░░░░ victims it s my ░░░░░░░░ and certainly my intent ░░░░░░░░ continue that throughout this ░░░░░░░░ process The defendant s ░░░░░░░░ charged with 10 counts ░░░░░░░░ murder in the first ░░░░░░░░ He s charged with ░░░░░░░░ count of attempted murder ░░░░░░░░ the first degree Additional ░░░░░░░░ of attempted murder in ░░░░░░░░ first degree will be ░░░░░░░░ in the very near ░░░░░░░░ I will share with ░░░░░░░░ that officers from the ░░░░░░░░ Police Department and the ░░░░░░░░ of Colorado Boulder Police ░░░░░░░░ so both Boulder PD ░░░░░░░░ CU Boulder PD responded ░░░░░░░░ very quickly to the ░░░░░░░░ of shots being fired ░░░░░░░░ the King Soopers Immediately ░░░░░░░░ responding they charged into ░░░░░░░░ store Their actions saved ░░░░░░░░ other civilians from being ░░░░░░░░ They charged into the ░░░░░░░░ and immediately faced a ░░░░░░░░ significant amount of gunfire ░░░░░░░░ the shooter who at ░░░░░░░░ they were unable to ░░░░░░░░ and they put their ░░░░░░░░ at risk and that ░░░░░░░░ be reflected in additional ░░░░░░░░ murder charges that will ░░░░░░░░ filed by the district ░░░░░░░░ s office in the ░░░░░░░░ couple weeks In addition ░░░░░░░░ anticipate other charge will ░░░░░░░░ filed in the weeks ░░░░░░░░ and as that information ░░░░░░░░ finalized we ll make ░░░░░░░░ available to the media ░░░░░░░░ to the community As ░░░░░░░░ result of the actions ░░░░░░░░ law enforcement there was ░░░░░░░░ danger to civilians who ░░░░░░░░ still in the supermarket ░░░░░░░░ significant danger to the ░░░░░░░░ That danger ended because ░░░░░░░░ the response of law ░░░░░░░░
