MSNBC: Entire School Board Resigns After Members Bashed Parents

RUSH TRANSCRIPT The debate ░░░░░░░░ reopening America s classrooms ░░░░░░░░ pitted school teachers against ░░░░░░░░ Schools and teachers against ░░░░░░░░ and smemz it s ░░░░░░░░ ugly battle The latest ░░░░░░░░ an entire school board ░░░░░░░░ Oakley California resigned after ░░░░░░░░ were caught bashing parents ░░░░░░░░ a conversation they thought ░░░░░░░░ private Are we alone ░░░░░░░░ Bleep If you re ░░░░░░░░ to call me out ░░░░░░░░ m going to plp ░░░░░░░░ you up It s ░░░░░░░░ unfortunate they want they ░░░░░░░░ their babysitters back Yeah ░░░░░░░░ Joining me is Arne ░░░░░░░░ former secretary of education ░░░░░░░░ the Obama Administration That ░░░░░░░░ pretty stunning What was ░░░░░░░░ reaction of that conversation ░░░░░░░░ Oakley California And other ░░░░░░░░ like it centered on ░░░░░░░░ schools Not that tenor ░░░░░░░░ the laughing obnoxious That ░░░░░░░░ intolerable and thankfully they ░░░░░░░░ resigned We have 15 ░░░░░░░░ school boards around the ░░░░░░░░ We have idiots who ░░░░░░░░ t be serving They ░░░░░░░░ t be serving They ░░░░░░░░ out The vast majority ░░░░░░░░ school boards teachers parents ░░░░░░░░ are trying to work ░░░░░░░░ together in a very ░░░░░░░░ and complicated situation and ░░░░░░░░ many are doing great ░░░░░░░░ despite all of the ░░░░░░░░ Look many teachers unions ░░░░░░░░ certainly spoken out against ░░░░░░░░ There are school boards ░░░░░░░░ lawsuits to get the ░░░░░░░░ back in the classrooms ░░░░░░░░ do you make of ░░░░░░░░ battle between teachers unions ░░░░░░░░ the schools themselves How ░░░░░░░░ you reconcile the needs ░░░░░░░░ both sides How do ░░░░░░░░ start Yeah I truly ░░░░░░░░ t see it as ░░░░░░░░ battle I see it ░░░░░░░░ a complicated complex issue ░░░░░░░░ have legitimate questions and ░░░░░░░░ on all sides of ░░░░░░░░ Fy if I talk ░░░░░░░░ superintendents around the country ░░░░░░░░ West Coast the vast ░░░░░░░░ ever school districts are ░░░░░░░░ back to school safely ░░░░░░░░ carefully They re starting ░░░░░░░░ the children of special ░░░░░░░░ most vulnerable All of ░░░░░░░░ guidance out of the ░░░░░░░░ has been very very ░░░░░░░░ encouraging and demonstrates what ░░░░░░░░ know anecdotally you can ░░░░░░░░ safely We are absolutely ░░░░░░░░ to get our teachers ░░░░░░░░ as quickly as we ░░░░░░░░ We don t have ░░░░░░░░ have them vaccinated to ░░░░░░░░ back to school they ░░░░░░░░ happen concurrently So figure ░░░░░░░░ how to reopen and ░░░░░░░░ bigger issue not just ░░░░░░░░ what what do we ░░░░░░░░ this summer We have ░░░░░░░░ do things dramatically different ░░░░░░░░ summer to take care ░░░░░░░░ our kids.
