RUSH TRANSCRIPT BERMAN Ben ░░░░░░░░ the chief of police ░░░░░░░░ Brown is African American ░░░░░░░░ speaking there and he ░░░░░░░░ police do feel under ░░░░░░░░ lot of pressure He ░░░░░░░░ we don t feel ░░░░░░░░ support most days Don ░░░░░░░░ let today be most ░░░░░░░░ the chief said he ░░░░░░░░ the bravery of those ░░░░░░░░ who were running toward ░░░░░░░░ who made sure the ░░░░░░░░ wasn t even worst ░░░░░░░░ it was this horrific ░░░░░░░░ and he talked about ░░░░░░░░ bravery FERGUSON This speaks ░░░░░░░░ to how police feel ░░░░░░░░ over the country I ░░░░░░░░ my father wears a ░░░░░░░░ I grew up in ░░░░░░░░ police family air seeing ░░░░░░░░ African American police chief ░░░░░░░░ in one of the ░░░░░░░░ diversified police departments in ░░░░░░░░ america has incredible relations ░░░░░░░░ the community Coming out ░░░░░░░░ TV and say i ░░░░░░░░ not and my officers ░░░░░░░░ not and we do ░░░░░░░░ feel like we have ░░░░░░░░ from the community I ░░░░░░░░ t think he is ░░░░░░░░ talking outside of Dallas ░░░░░░░░ think he is talking ░░░░░░░░ directly here when he ░░░░░░░░ to work as an ░░░░░░░░ American man and puts ░░░░░░░░ badge on he is ░░░░░░░░ most days I do ░░░░░░░░ feel support this is ░░░░░░░░ alarming moment for the ░░░░░░░░ country we have got ░░░░░░░░ reverse this the police ░░░░░░░░ that I ve talked ░░░░░░░░ protect and serve in ░░░░░░░░ area who were on ░░░░░░░░ scene last night they ░░░░░░░░ echoing from last night ░░░░░░░░ the way until you ░░░░░░░░ this police chief who ░░░░░░░░ African American say this ░░░░░░░░ feel like we are ░░░░░░░░ war We feel lining ░░░░░░░░ want to kill us ░░░░░░░░ feel like people hate ░░░░░░░░ That s what you ░░░░░░░░ from a police chief ░░░░░░░░ is in a very ░░░░░░░░ unbelievably cooperative police force ░░░░░░░░ has not been issues ░░░░░░░░ racism in the Dallas ░░░░░░░░ this police chief is ░░░░░░░░ guy that is one ░░░░░░░░ those that is doing ░░░░░░░░ so well and his ░░░░░░░░ are doing so well ░░░░░░░░ DART officer that was ░░░░░░░░ and killed DART are ░░░░░░░░ policemen They re on ░░░░░░░░ public transportation to help ░░░░░░░░ people They have incredible ░░░░░░░░ with the people that ░░░░░░░░ public transportation and you ░░░░░░░░ him say it and ░░░░░░░░ think it is important ░░░░░░░░ have got to change ░░░░░░░░ narrative that police officers ░░░░░░░░ not evil people.”
