HILL I don t ░░░░░░░░ it s ever smart ░░░░░░░░ a candidate to avoid ░░░░░░░░ I mean weeks ago ░░░░░░░░ Ferguson was saying reporters ░░░░░░░░ to candidates need to ░░░░░░░░ reporters questions candidates need ░░░░░░░░ hit the ground I ░░░░░░░░ t applaud her for ░░░░░░░░ smart when she avoids ░░░░░░░░ voices of people who ░░░░░░░░ been struggling on the ░░░░░░░░ for hundreds of years ░░░░░░░░ certainly since August 9 ░░░░░░░░ post Michael Brown I ░░░░░░░░ she needs to be ░░░░░░░░ I think she needs ░░░░░░░░ address these issues I ░░░░░░░░ Ben s point which ░░░░░░░░ that as a political ░░░░░░░░ it s better to ░░░░░░░░ from this stuff than ░░░░░░░░ take it head on ░░░░░░░░ you end up saying ░░░░░░░░ stupid like All lives ░░░░░░░░ like Martin O Malley ░░░░░░░░ I think from a ░░░░░░░░ perspective it s fine ░░░░░░░░ an ethical perspective from ░░░░░░░░ moral perspective I think ░░░░░░░░ made a big mistake ░░░░░░░░ not being there and ░░░░░░░░ ll make a bigger ░░░░░░░░ if she ignores the ░░░░░░░░ of the Black Lives ░░░░░░░░ movement Poppy HARLOW Ben ░░░░░░░░ ll let you jump ░░░░░░░░ but real quick explain ░░░░░░░░ those who might not ░░░░░░░░ why it was offensive ░░░░░░░░ say All lives matter ░░░░░░░░ Well outside of context ░░░░░░░░ All lives matter is ░░░░░░░░ right All lives do ░░░░░░░░ The Black Lives Matter ░░░░░░░░ has never been about ░░░░░░░░ the legitimacy of other ░░░░░░░░ s suffering It s ░░░░░░░░ been about saying all ░░░░░░░░ don t matter or ░░░░░░░░ black lives are superior ░░░░░░░░ other lives The point ░░░░░░░░ that there s a ░░░░░░░░ going on There is ░░░░░░░░ crisis in the black ░░░░░░░░ of state violence There ░░░░░░░░ a crisis of extra ░░░░░░░░ violence against black bodies ░░░░░░░░ s a crisis of ░░░░░░░░ incarceration of poverty All ░░░░░░░░ things are happening and ░░░░░░░░ re targeted disproportionately targeted ░░░░░░░░ black people And to ░░░░░░░░ a movement and say ░░░░░░░░ people need support in ░░░░░░░░ way black people s ░░░░░░░░ need to be affirmed ░░░░░░░░ confirmed and protected in ░░░░░░░░ way to make that ░░░░░░░░ and then to have ░░░░░░░░ say Hey but what ░░░░░░░░ white people to me ░░░░░░░░ to avoid the point ░░░░░░░░ s almost as if ░░░░░░░░ we can t affirm ░░░░░░░░ humanity of black people ░░░░░░░░ also bringing in some ░░░░░░░░ people we can t ░░░░░░░░ about the value of ░░░░░░░░ life unless we talk ░░░░░░░░ something else If there ░░░░░░░░ two houses on a ░░░░░░░░ one is on fire ░░░░░░░░ m not going to ░░░░░░░░ out All houses matter ░░░░░░░░ m going to put ░░░░░░░░ the fire in the ░░░░░░░░ that s on fire ░░░░░░░░ now there s a ░░░░░░░░ in the black community.
