Obama: I Never Saw John Treat Anyone Differently Because of Their Race or Religion, or Gender

OBAMA It has been ░░░░░░░░ today and we have ░░░░░░░░ footage this week of ░░░░░░░░ pushing back against supporters ░░░░░░░░ challenged my patriotism during ░░░░░░░░ 2008 campaign I was ░░░░░░░░ but I was not ░░░░░░░░ As Joe Lieberman said ░░░░░░░░ was John s instinct ░░░░░░░░ never saw John treat ░░░░░░░░ differently because of their ░░░░░░░░ or religion or gender ░░░░░░░░ I am certain that ░░░░░░░░ those moments that have ░░░░░░░░ referred to during the ░░░░░░░░ he saw himself as ░░░░░░░░ America s character not ░░░░░░░░ mine He considered it ░░░░░░░░ imperative of every citizen ░░░░░░░░ loves this country to ░░░░░░░░ all people fairly And ░░░░░░░░ while John and I ░░░░░░░░ on all kinds of ░░░░░░░░ policy issues we stood ░░░░░░░░ on America s role ░░░░░░░░ the one indispensable nation ░░░░░░░░ that with great power ░░░░░░░░ great blessings comes great ░░░░░░░░ That burden is worn ░░░░░░░░ heavily by our men ░░░░░░░░ women in uniform Service ░░░░░░░░ like Doug Jimmy and ░░░░░░░░ who follow their father ░░░░░░░░ footsteps as well as ░░░░░░░░ families who served alongside ░░░░░░░░ troops But John understood ░░░░░░░░ our security and our ░░░░░░░░ was one not just ░░░░░░░░ our military might not ░░░░░░░░ by our wealth not ░░░░░░░░ by our ability to ░░░░░░░░ others to our will ░░░░░░░░ from our capacity to ░░░░░░░░ others With our adherence ░░░░░░░░ a set of universal ░░░░░░░░ Like rule of law ░░░░░░░░ human rights and insistence ░░░░░░░░ the God given dignity ░░░░░░░░ every human being.”
