Ron Paul: France’s Foreign Policy ‘Invites Retaliation’

“Well you know partially ░░░░░░░░ the Secretary of State ░░░░░░░░ is true this is ░░░░░░░░ obscene when it comes ░░░░░░░░ violence and libertarians are ░░░░░░░░ annoyed by anybody who ░░░░░░░░ violence This is pretty ░░░░░░░░ But in the context ░░░░░░░░ things France has been ░░░░░░░░ target for many many ░░░░░░░░ because they ve been ░░░░░░░░ in foreign affairs in ░░░░░░░░ and they really prodded ░░░░░░░░ along in recently in ░░░░░░░░ but they ve been ░░░░░░░░ in Algeria so they ░░░░░░░░ had attacks like this ░░░░░░░░ know not infrequently So ░░░░░░░░ does involve you know ░░░░░░░░ foreign policy as well ░░░░░░░░ people do this you ░░░░░░░░ the rejection of the ░░░░░░░░ has to be made ░░░░░░░░ with that I agree ░░░░░░░░ put blame on bad ░░░░░░░░ that we don t ░░░░░░░░ understand and we don ░░░░░░░░ understand what they re ░░░░░░░░ because the people who ░░░░░░░░ objecting to the foreign ░░░░░░░░ that we pursue they ░░░░░░░░ it from a different ░░░░░░░░ They see us as ░░░░░░░░ them and killing innocent ░░░░░░░░ so yes they they ░░░░░░░░ this doesn t justify ░░░░░░░░ don t put those ░░░░░░░░ in my mouth it ░░░░░░░░ t justify but it ░░░░░░░░ it And this is ░░░░░░░░ we say if we ░░░░░░░░ somebody do to us ░░░░░░░░ we have done to ░░░░░░░░ many countries in the ░░░░░░░░ East and how many ░░░░░░░░ we ve killed and ░░░░░░░░ over drones and bombing ░░░░░░░░ involved in all these ░░░░░░░░ and supporting dictators one ░░░░░░░░ and taking away the ░░░░░░░░ and the stupidity of ░░░░░░░░ sending all those weapons ░░░░░░░░ Syria ending up in ░░░░░░░░ hands of ISIS and ░░░░░░░░ now we re even ░░░░░░░░ more weapons You know ░░░░░░░░ ISIS took all the ░░░░░░░░ weapons It s that ░░░░░░░░ policy which invites retaliation ░░░░░░░░ they see us as ░░░░░░░░ But it s a ░░░░░░░░ bit more complex you ░░░░░░░░ when they hit us ░░░░░░░░ here at home and ░░░░░░░░ civilians and what s ░░░░░░░░ in France But I ░░░░░░░░ t think you can ░░░░░░░░ these instances from the ░░░░░░░░ foreign policy Yeah but ░░░░░░░░ don t think that ░░░░░░░░ the real reason things ░░░░░░░░ because we ve been ░░░░░░░░ to believe that the ░░░░░░░░ reason 9 11 happened ░░░░░░░░ that we are free ░░░░░░░░ prosperous I don t ░░░░░░░░ that for a minute ░░░░░░░░ our foreign policy I ░░░░░░░░ it s blowback I ░░░░░░░░ it s very clearly ░░░░░░░░ by our own government ░░░░░░░░ radicals taking over in ░░░░░░░░ in 1979 was a ░░░░░░░░ up of anger over ░░░░░░░░ Shah that we put ░░░░░░░░ place in 1953 You ░░░░░░░░ it had to do ░░░░░░░░ oil and it had ░░░░░░░░ do with the abuse ░░░░░░░░ the Shah and finally ░░░░░░░░ radicals so they you ░░░░░░░░ when we get involved ░░░░░░░░ set up dictators that ░░░░░░░░ people don t like ░░░░░░░░ get pretty angry at ░░░░░░░░
