SCHUMER Earlier today we ░░░░░░░░ a very productive meeting ░░░░░░░░ President Trump Leader McConnell ░░░░░░░░ Ryan In that meeting ░░░░░░░░ agreed to pass aid ░░░░░░░░ Harvey a continuing resolution ░░░░░░░░ an increase in the ░░░░░░░░ ceiling both of those ░░░░░░░░ December 15th This is ░░░░░░░░ really positive step forward ░░░░░░░░ will work to quickly ░░░░░░░░ aid to those hurt ░░░░░░░░ Harvey It will avoid ░░░░░░░░ and it will fund ░░░░░░░░ government avoiding a shutdown ░░░░░░░░ we all agreed we ░░░░░░░░ work together in December ░░░░░░░░ well to avoid a ░░░░░░░░ So it was a ░░░░░░░░ good moment of some ░░░░░░░░ and getting things done ░░░░░░░░ one standing in their ░░░░░░░░ We Democrats you know ░░░░░░░░ people urged us Don ░░░░░░░░ help at all particularly ░░░░░░░░ the debt ceiling but ░░░░░░░░ thought for the good ░░░░░░░░ the country we should ░░░░░░░░ the right offer and ░░░░░░░░ did and we re ░░░░░░░░ glad that President accepted ░░░░░░░░ It s for the ░░░░░░░░ of the country Now ░░░░░░░░ have a lot more ░░░░░░░░ get done and we ░░░░░░░░ we can work in ░░░░░░░░ same bipartisan way on ░░░░░░░░ issues that remain before ░░░░░░░░ that we did at ░░░░░░░░ meeting this morning We ░░░░░░░░ are absolutely committed to ░░░░░░░░ DREAMers And again we ░░░░░░░░ our desire that Republican ░░░░░░░░ put the DREAM Act ░░░░░░░░ the floor immediately If ░░░░░░░░ House and Senate Republican ░░░░░░░░ put the DREAM Act ░░░░░░░░ the floor it would ░░░░░░░░ and it would pass ░░░░░░░░ a significant margin is ░░░░░░░░ belief So let s ░░░░░░░░ it Dick Durbin who ░░░░░░░░ been such a leader ░░░░░░░░ this will talk about ░░░░░░░░ in a minute We ░░░░░░░░ must provide further stability ░░░░░░░░ our health care system ░░░░░░░░ will help keep cost ░░░░░░░░ for millions and millions ░░░░░░░░ Americans Patty Murray is ░░░░░░░░ very closely with Lamar ░░░░░░░░ on that issue and ░░░░░░░░ ll hear from her ░░░░░░░░ that And we need ░░░░░░░░ come up with long ░░░░░░░░ government funding deals that ░░░░░░░░ us safe and fund ░░░░░░░░ that will help to ░░░░░░░░ the middle class Today ░░░░░░░░ a good day in ░░░░░░░░ generally very partisan town ░░░░░░░░ let s hope we ░░░░░░░░ continue to work together ░░░░░░░░ the good of Americans ░░░░░░░░ the good of the ░░░░░░░░ families who so much ░░░░░░░░ our help That will ░░░░░░░░ our goals as a ░░░░░░░░
