TODD Well I want ░░░░░░░░ ask you though if ░░░░░░░░ got some evidence here ░░░░░░░░ mandates work Let me ░░░░░░░░ you some statistics in ░░░░░░░░ state On August 1st ░░░░░░░░ percent of the state ░░░░░░░░ fully vaccinated After the ░░░░░░░░ mandate was announced and ░░░░░░░░ had companies like Tyson ░░░░░░░░ Walmart in your state ░░░░░░░░ announce their own vaccine ░░░░░░░░ vaccine acceptance went up ░░░░░░░░ percent you got 46 ░░░░░░░░ of the state now ░░░░░░░░ that not evidence that ░░░░░░░░ mandates by Tyson and ░░░░░░░░ have had an impact ░░░░░░░░ Well absolutely it does ░░░░░░░░ that And it s ░░░░░░░░ just there but our ░░░░░░░░ care workers Many of ░░░░░░░░ hospitals have put in ░░░░░░░░ requirement for vaccines and ░░░░░░░░ rate goes up So ░░░░░░░░ there is an effectiveness ░░░░░░░░ And so let me ░░░░░░░░ it clear that when ░░░░░░░░ say I don t ░░░░░░░░ we ought to be ░░░░░░░░ in mandates I m ░░░░░░░░ of the government mandates ░░░░░░░░ it s a federal ░░░░░░░░ mandate or a state ░░░░░░░░ mandate And the states ░░░░░░░░ sometimes coming in and ░░░░░░░░ employers should not have ░░░░░░░░ ability to impose a ░░░░░░░░ requirement on their workers ░░░░░░░░ me that s the ░░░░░░░░ direction as well It ░░░░░░░░ not practical in terms ░░░░░░░░ creating that debate but ░░░░░░░░ s not principled either ░░░░░░░░ I am a defender ░░░░░░░░ the employer s right ░░░░░░░░ provide a healthy workplace ░░░░░░░░ would have just as ░░░░░░░░ workers say I don ░░░░░░░░ want to work there ░░░░░░░░ it s not a ░░░░░░░░ workplace because not everybody ░░░░░░░░ going to be vaccinated ░░░░░░░░ employers are in a ░░░░░░░░ position They should have ░░░░░░░░ prerogative to make those ░░░░░░░░ and I support that.”
