Trump: Walz Called Me During the Riots and Asked Me to Put out a ‘Good Word’ for Him to Crowd with American Flags

‘I said how do you know they were about 15,000?’

EXCERPT:

TRUMP: "No, he's a strange guy. You know, he called up years ago, I was in the White House, and he said, 'My house is being surrounded by people with American flags.' I said, 'Is that a good thing or a bad thing?' He said, 'I think they are going to attack me.' This was during the riots and everything else. They were MAGA people, they like the American flag. And they also have Trump and — I said, 'How do you know?' There were about 15,000, he said, He said, 'Could you put out a word that I am your friend?' I don’t even know them. But that is the only time I ever spoke to him. And if you look back long ago, at tweets, long ago, I put out a statement, 'He's a good man, the governor. He is on our side.' I did not know him, but I did not want him to get hurt. Everybody put down their flex and they left. He said it was a miracle. He said it was a miracle.”
