Moody’s Mark Zandi: Manchin-Schumer Inflation Act Will ‘Nudge’ Inflation Lower

ZANDI: "It'll nudge it lower. You know, it lowers prescription drug costs, which is you know, a key cost for a lot of seniors, it lowers the cost of health insurance for lower income Americans, in longer run because of the climate provisions it'll reduce the cost of energy for households to improve efficiency. So net net, it will push inflation lower. You know, it's not a game changer by any respect, Kate, you know, certainly not in the near term but the senator is right it will reduce inflation over the -- a ten-year budget horizon that they're focused on."
