Stone’s Attorney: Pre-Dawn Raid ‘Was Reminiscent of a Police State Rather than a Free Republic, It Was Disgraceful’
EXCERPT:
NIXON: "Well, that’s a mystery that I think remains to be seen and remains to be discovered. And thanks for having me on, Laura, I appreciate it, it’s been a long day for sure. This witch hunt that has been going on, has been taken to the extreme. And as we know, Roger was carted off from his home, in an early raid, pre-dawn raid, in a manner that was reminiscent, frankly, of a police state rather than a free republic in which we live. And I think it was disgraceful. You and I share, I believe, the alma mater of Mr. Mueller, the University of Virginia law school, I think Mr. Jefferson would be standing with Roger Stone rather than Robert Mueller in what was done to Roger Stone. It’s hard to say, because there’s so much fabrication and so much insinuation that’s gone on with this case. We've been close to the details for a long time, I’ve known Roger for years. This is just, it really is Kafka-esque, it's Orwellian, a lynch mob."
