Huckabee: Ocasio-Cortez Is Reaching Out to Kids Because They’re the Only Ones Naive Enough to Believe Nonsense of Socialism

HUCKABEE: "his is amazing. I think the reason she’s reaching out to those children is because they’re the only ones naive enough to believe the nonsense of socialism. Most people, especially people with a job, know better. But here’s what those kids ought to understand about socialism. Here’s how it works. Six kids in a family all told to rake the leaves and if they rake the leaves, they get an ice cream cone. Three of the kids rake the leaves, three sit on their backsides and do absolutely nothing. When all the leaves are raked then the mom comes out and says, “You know, I’m going to give half of the ice cream to the kids that didn’t do any raking after all ‘cause that’s the way we want to play.” The three kids who rake say “ “Next time it’s time to rake the yard, we ain’t picking up a rake rake.” That’s socialism. As the Russians used to say in the communist system, it’s people pretending to work while the government is pretending to pay them."
