Dan Donovan: Missile Strikes ‘Not the Start of the Trump Doctrine’; This Was a ‘Measured’ Response

‘ISIL has a safe haven in Syria and if they get their hands on these chemical weapons, this is going to be a danger to the entire world’

RUSH EXCERPT:
DONOVAN: "I think this was a measured response to something we didn’t predict.”
SNOW: "In Syria.”
DONOVAN: "In Syria. We all saw the atrocities during on film. Children. And there’s a national security interest. ISIL has a safe haven in Syria and if they get their hands on these chemical weapons, this is going to be a danger to the entire world. So the president took action, which was appropriate, measured, we attacked an air field where they were confident that’s where the attacks originated from. And there was talk of a trump doctrine now. It will develop. This was not the start of trump doctrine. This was a measured effort on behalf of the president for what he saw was something near and dear to the American people’s security.”
