Marie Harf Defends Susan Rice: ‘We Should Not Equate Unmasking with Leaking’

‘I’m not sure why Susan Rice said what she said in any given interview’

RUSH EXCERPT:
HARF: "I’m not sure why Susan Rice said what she said in any given interview. I just saw the interview for the first time minutes ago. What I do know it’s not unusual for the National Security Adviser to request additional question and what I mean is unmasking of an intelligence report and doesn’t mean she leaked it and we should not equate unmasking with leaking and it’s not unusual for a National Security Adviser to request this type of information. It happens all the time. I’ve been in the intelligence community and administration and I know it’s a fairly common practice."
