Bolton: 25 Years of ‘Misguided’ N. Korea Policy Has Brought to the Point of Being Close to Hitting Us with Nukes

BOLTON: "Well I think with respect to North Korea the United States for 25 years has pursued a misguided policy of trying to get China to pressure North Korea to make an agreement with us in exchange for tangible economic benefits. And 25 years of diplomacy have brought us to the point of North Korea is very close to being able to hit targets in the United States with nuclear weapons. I think we need a different strategy. I don’t think that obviously has produced a result and year 26 of diplomacy that way isn't going to do it either. So I think the president really needs to impress on China. We want to seen movement toward reunification in the Korean Peninsula. That's the only long-term answer."
