You have lot of people who are affectionate for the alliance of free agents today, whether it be Russia, China, whether it be Brazil. The United States isn’t a very attractive ally any longer so this really does have consequences for us as we’re trying to build alliances, we’re trying to build coalitions around the world to fight extremists, to fight challenges like global warming. We can’t do that if people feel embarrassed to be associated with the United States. You combine that with the fact that the State Department has essentially been neutered, eviscerated by this administration thus far and watching in real time as America and America’s image withdraws from the world."
