Debbie Dingell Defends Obamacare, Citing Husband Who Famously Said It Will ‘Control the People’ (The Washington Free Beacon)

Democratic Rep. Debbie Dingell (Mich.) defended the Affordable Care Act on Wednesday, citing her husband and former Congressman John Dingell (D., Mich.) for his help passing Obamacare.

"I can tell you that on behalf of [Rep.] John Dingell, President Ted Kennedy–or Ted Kennedy, should have been–President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and the generations of other leaders who fought for the right of every American for a quality, affordable health care, we cannot let you take health care away from people who need it most," Dingell said on Capitol Hill.

She was defending the Affordable Care Act after House Republicans unveiled their Obamacare replacement plan on Monday night.
