Paul Ryan: ‘Tax Reform’ Will Come ‘in Our Spring Budget’

‘I don’t think Democrats are going to want to work with the Republicans to lower taxes for families, small businesses, to expand economic growth’

RUSH EXCERPT:

RYAN: "As we've long been planning, tax reform is our spring budget. As you know, Bret, you can do one reconciliation bill at the time. What that means is in a budget bill, that can be filibustered. Just in the first hundred days of this Trump Administration we think is enormous progress for the American people, repeal and replace ObamaCare. We note the markets aren't going to do that, so we had to use a budget bill that's called reconciliation to pass that. Number two, after this first ObamaCare bill, that will repeal and replace ObamaCare has passed, we move to another budget. That is our spring budget. In that budget, we will do tax reform. Again, I don't think Democrats are going to want to work with the Republicans to lower taxes for families, small businesses, to expand economic growth. They believe in more Bernie sanders-Elizabeth Warren economics and the don't think they want to work on us to reduce tech weeks to -- 21 budget first and the second budget. You cannot do that according to our rules."
