‘Drumbeat of Attack’: Democratic Congressman Says Media Hasn’t Been Treating Trump Fairly (Mediaite)

One Democratic member of Congress said earlier today that President Trump isn’t getting fair treatment from the media.

In speaking with WBZ’s Joe Mathieu, Congressman Stephen Lynch said that he found Trump more conciliatory in his address to Congress last night, though he did take issue with many of his claims, including his “drain the swamp” pledge.

However, the Massachusetts Democrat also said that he thinks the media isn’t treating Trump fairly:

"I don’t think he’s been treated fairly in the media. I really don’t… I thought that one of the biggest casualties of this past election was the credibility of the media. I read probably six or seven newspapers a day, my staff sends me the clips, and, you know, there was just a steady drumbeat of attack against Donald Trump."
