‘Bannon sits there quietly’

EXCERPT:

PETERS: "Their praise for him doesn’t mean that Bannon then supports them."
SCARBOROUGH: "No, I’m not saying that."
PETERS: "Or enables their ideology. I do think that where Bannon and others in the White House do themselves a grave disservice and do this president and this democracy a grave disservice is by not defending themselves, not speaking out against this saying, 'We don’t stand for that. These people ascribe motives to us but that’s not me.'"
SCARBOROUGH: "They never have."
PETERS: "They never have."
SCARBOROUGH: "And that’s the thing. You know, the old expression, 'He who does not deny admits,' in this case, if somebody is calling me an anti-Semitic or even making a small suggestion, I’m going to get out and talk about it. Bannon just sits there quietly, almost as if he's nodding and winking to that crowd. Donald Trump doesn't need that around him."
