State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki on Tuesday said the United States is still not considering lethal assistance to Ukraine.

“We’re not considering lethal assistance,” Psaki stated at a briefing this afternoon, “but we’ll continue to review their request.”

“We don’t see a military solution as the outcome to this crisis,” Psaki said, while also affirming her support for Ukraine’s efforts to ensure their country’s stability.

Psaki maintained that the United States is focused “on supporting economic and diplomatic efforts.”
