Corey Lewandowski: Trump Staffers Have ‘Not Prepared Him As Well As They Could Have’ (Mediaite)

Former Donald Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski criticized the president’s staff in a CNN podcast interview released Monday, saying they hadn’t done enough to inform and prepare him for the controversial executive orders he signed.

Fellow CNN contributor and Obama alum David Axelrod asked Lewandowski to assess the president’s first month in office. “Right now it feels like the president has gotten off to a pretty rocky start,” he noted.

“I do think — and I agree with Governor [Chris Christie] on this — the staff has probably not prepared him as well as they could have or should have as it related to those executive orders and the implementation,” Lewandowski said.
