BLITZER: “So, are you comfortable with the president’s attacks on the news media, members of Congress, and the intelligence community?”
THORNBERRY: “Well, I think there’s a lot of turmoil on this back and forth between the White House and the media and so forth. What I’m not comfortable with, however, is what’s happening in the real world. And one of your reporters mentioned what Russia has done, violating an imf treaty, its planes buzzing our ships, off the coast of Connecticut, or North Korea sending missiles assassinating political opponents. So, while we’re all in this back and forth here at home, the world moves on and the world is getting more dangerous.”
