Matthews: Possibility of ‘Collusion’ Between Trump Team and Putin Is the ‘Big Scandal’

MATTHEWS: "I guess the big question, you write front page stories for USA Today, is the big story here that Flynn blew it? He didn't tell the truth? Or is the big story there’s some remaining murkiness about our relation between Trump and Putin. Putin was helping Trump win the election, that's an established fact. We put sanctions on him for having done so. There is a conversation now we know of between Trump's guy Flynn and Putin's guy the ambassador. About how some things are going to be nicer or something -- we all can figure out. This possibility that Trump's people were in cahoots with Putin at some point when Putin decided to put his thumb on the scale. That to me is the big scandal -- that there was collusion at some level -- passably at least, between the Trump people and the guy helping them to win the election over Moscow. that to me is the big story."
