Matthews to Conway: Does Trump Not Want People Around Him Who Disagree With Him? (Mediaite)

Chris Matthews spoke with Kellyanne Conway earlier today and asked her if President Trump does not want people who disagree with him working for his administration.

He pointed to the firing of acting Attorney General Sally Yates and Sean Spicer saying––as Matthews paraphrased it––”If you don’t agree with the president and you work for the United States government, you shouldn’t be there.”

Conway objected to the characterization of the latter and said of the former that Trump has every right to surround himself with people who will work with him, “not against him.”
