CARSON: “Well, President Obama is one of the greatest presidents that this country has ever produced. He’s a friend. He’s a mentor. As a constitutional attorney, he knows that the founding fathers outlined very specifically and intentionally our right to show dissent and our right to protest, if you will. I would hope to hear more from the president. I know he wants to take a tone of not being disruptive to a degree. But he has also stated that when he can no longer sit back and remain silent, he will speak out, as he has done, and that’s why he is such a phenomenal leader.”
