Fallon: Comey’s Actions Not Motivated by ‘Partisan Bias’

‘He was faced with a tricky situation and decided that his integrity, his own view of his own integrity was a little bit inflated’

EXCERPT:

FALLON: “I don’t think that’s my place to say so I’m not going to join the call of 'The Wall Street Journal' editorial board today. I do think that Director Comey’s actions were inappropriate. I don’t think he was motivated by partisan bias, I think it’s important to state that for the record. I just think that he was faced with a tricky situation and he decided that his integrity, his own view of his own integrity was a little bit inflated and I think he was  trying to please both sides, and so he acted inappropriately. And the bothersome thing to us, was just look at the different way in which he handled the Clinton matter versus how he handled what we now know is an ongoing investigation into links between the Trump campaign and Russia."
