Noah on Meryl’s Speech: It Was Tone Deaf of Her to [Bleep] on Other People’s Thing

‘ — because a lot of people love football and martial arts’

RUSH EXCERPT:
NOAH: "Even in a career distinguished as Meryl's, her speech last night was a high light. She spoke to so many things. It was so great except for a tiny part where Meryl Streep like her character in Foster Jenkins was tone deaf — "
STREEP [clip]: "If you kick them all out you will just have football and martial arts to watch, which are not the arts!"
NOAH: "I don’t know if I could have done better, but I feel like we could all learn this as people, you don’t have to make your point by (bleep) on someone else’s thing because a lot of people love football and martial arts. Yesterday, I was watching football with the friends and went on to watch the Golden Globe’s. A lot of time football and arts go hand in hand. For instance, Commissioner Roger Goodell acts like he cares about concussions. They go together."
