Ryan: Criminal Justice Reform the ‘Right Thing To Do’

‘I do support criminal justice reform’

RYAN: "Yeah, I do support criminal justice reform. I think it's a long time in coming. I asked our committee to pick up where they left off on this. Bob Goodlatte passed — I don't know, six or eight bills out of the committee, I don't remember the exact number, and I've asked them to pick up where they left off. This is something that we wanted to get done last year. We ran out of time. And we intend to pick up where we left off and get moving again in criminal justice reform. I think it's a good policy, the right thing to do for lots of reasons, and yes, this is a priority of ours."
