Kerry on U.N. Resolution: ‘We Recruited Nobody’

MITCHELL: “You didn’t orchestrate it? You didn’t sponsor it, you didn't push it, you didn't recruit them as an alternative to bring it up to the U.N.? 
KERRY: “We recruited nobody as an alternative. Those four countries that ultimately brought it to the floor did so absolutely on their own. I had no communication with those four countries in the course of that process and I don’t know — I mean, it kind of makes a statement, if you will, that they decided to go ahead no matter what. That’s all distracting purposefully, I think, from the real issue which is the policy that is being pursued that if you have more and more settlements being built in the area that’s supposed to be the future Palestine it makes it harder and harder to have that future Palestine and one that’s contiguous and viable as resolution after resolution has supported.”
