Uygur: The Days of the Clintons Keeping Control of the DNC with ‘Transparent Tricks’ Are Over

'The Young Turks' host Cenk Uygur says that statements from former DNC Chairmen Don Fowler and Howard Dean that the head of the DNC should be a "full time job" is an "obvious transparent trick" to prevent Rep. Keith Ellison from taking the chairmanship. 

"Don Fowler is a former head of the DNC, and deeply, deeply connected to the Clintons," Uygur said. "So when Don Fowler says something, it basically means that the Clintons are saying it."

He continued: "So why do they care if the head of the DNC is full time or part time? Are they really worried about their work schedule? The person who used to be part-time was Debbie Wasserman Schultz, they never complained about that at the time. They loved it. No, it is because Keith Ellison is the most likely candidate to be head of the DNC, and he is also a United States Congressman."
