Smith ‘Disgusted’ Red Hot Chili Peppers Music Used to Torture Detainee (Mediaite)

According to the massive (and still classified) Senate Intelligence Report on the CIA’s use of enhanced interrogation techniques — torture, to those of you scoring at home — Red Hot Chili Peppers’ music was used to torture at least one detainee held by the CIA.

Sources told Al Jazeera that two prisoners were subjected to all 10 torture methods outlined in a 2002 so-called “torture memo,” and that one prisoner, Abu Zubaydah, received the worst—including an endless loop of Red Hot Chili Peppers played at full volume.
