CBS’ Reid: NY A.G.’s Cease and Desist Order to Trump Foundation Politically Motivated

REID: "Well, the Trump campaign makes an important point. This attorney general is a known Hillary Clinton supporter, he is constantly tangling with Donald Trump and several of his businesses and charitable foundations and every time he does, even when he settled recently for somewhat moderate amount of credit card transactions, he released a press release. I mean, he is really using every possible opportunity to go after Trump, so when they say that there may be some political motivation behind some of these investigations I think that is supported by the court documents, by the number and the types of investigations that we'd seen and also the timing of these investigations. Certainly the Trump campaign will continue to respond and the attorney general — it's his right to investigate this foundation but you can't say there aren't a lot of investigations being opened against Mr. Trump now, when these activities have been going on for a very long time, by someone who openly supports Secretary Clinton."
