‘If I didn’t have my family, there’s no way that I’d be able to afford an extra $175 a month’

Texas Woman Can’t Afford The Cost Of Obamacare (Washington Free Beacon)

Jodi Alexander says that the cost of the health insurance exchange is too high for her to pay on her own.

“If I didn’t have my family, there’s no way that I’d be able to afford an extra $175 a month, which I guess is the going rate for Obamacare for people my age,” Jodi Alexander said.

KLTV-TX reports that a 27 year old Texas resident with an income of around $25,000 a year can expect to pay between $90 to $200 a month for health insurance, contingent on what tax credits they qualify for.
