Hassan Refuses to Comment on Clinton’s ‘Deplorables’ Remark (The Washington Free Beacon)

Democratic Senate candidate Maggie Hassan refused to comment when asked about Hillary Clinton’s remark that many of Donald Trump’s supporters are “deplorables.”

A tracker confronted Hassan, the governor of New Hampshire running for the Senate against incumbent Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R.), and repeatedly asked what she thought about Clinton’s comment. Hassan refused to respond, staying silent as she walked.

“Governor Hassan, do you think it’s okay that Hillary Clinton labeled a large portion of Americans as ‘deplorables?’” the tracker asked.
