Mike Baker: Both Trump and Hillary ‘Are Neck Deep in Hyperbole’

‘It’s like we are toddlers back at recess in the playground screaming at each other because that’s how far we’ve lowered the bar’

BAKER: "You know what, if you will indulge me just for a moment, I don't know a lot of big words so I have to look this up on the screen with my dictionary, hyperbole. The definition of hyperbole, exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally. Synonyms would be, exaggeration, overstatement, magnification. You know, this whole campaign on both sides, Trump as well as Hillary Clinton, Trump excels in it but both sides are neck deep in hyperbole. So, you know, yet again, they're parsing words that aren't meant to be examined like this. Look, I think -- I will say this I think Oliver North, I understand his point, but Colonel North I think is off the mark a little bit in the sense that of course ISIS would exist."
