Bernie Supporters Chant ‘Lock Her Up!’ During MSNBC Interview With Clinton Spox (Mediaite)

During a Sunday night MSNBC interview with Hillary Clintonspokesman Brian Fallon, supporters of Clinton’s primary opponent Bernie Sanders began chanting his name and “Lock her up!” in the background.

MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki was chatting with Fallon at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the city hosting the Democratic National Convention. A handful of Democrats showed up to chant and wave signs and an upside-down American flag in the background of the live shoot.

“You can hear the Bernie people behind us here,” Kornacki told Fallon, spurring a cheer from the crowd, which soon morphed into chants of “Bernie! Bernie!” That chant then turned into “Lock her up!” minutes later, a reference to the FBI investigation into Clinton’s use of private email at the State Department.
