Demonstrators protesting the U.S. biotech company Monsanto appeared in the Senate gallery Wednesday afternoon to protest a procedural vote on a bill that would require food packages with genetically modified organisms to be labeled.

One protestor inaudibly shouted something and then threw a large amount of actual money onto the Senate floor below them.

The man presiding over the Senate called for order multiple times. The protestors were eventually ushered out of the gallery.
