Civil Rights Lawyer: Muhammad Ali ‘Taught Us All’ How To Be Better People and Better Americans

COLEMAN: " In the context of everything we have been talking about, I think we cannot lose sight of the fact that Muhammad Ali stood for so many things that made him a hero to so many at a time a cower away and shy away from the beliefs he was away. He was a black man stood unashamed in the blackness. He was a Muslim man, he was of the faith of Islam and really into that when a time like I said someone of his stature, easy for him to sort of shun that, walk away from that. He stood in that and taught us all about how to be better people and better Americans."
