On Outnumbered Thursday afternoon, co-host Meghan McCain averred that anyone who thinks Donald Trumpcan’t be elected president is a “special kind of delusional.”

Following the news from the AP Thursday morning that Trump’s nomination is assured, McCain said the real issue was whether or not Trump would succeed in uniting the party and tempering some of his more explosive habits in order to win the support of groups beyond his base.
