Robertson: I Don’t Have a Problem with Trained Professionals Having Guns in Schools

‘I don’t think it’s beyond the pale to say trained professionals who are there to protect the children’

ROBERTSON: "I don’t disagree with his assessment. People just come in the way they have done in some of these schools and just start shooting up the place, I would feel better about it if my children were in that school if someone — and I would have to stress, because they would have to be fully trained to know firearms and be thoroughly vetted. But I would say at least they would have had a better chance if that were the case. So, I don’t think it’s beyond the pale to say trained professionals who are there to protect the children; I don’t have a problem with that."
