Blumenthal Refuses to Say if Clinton Ad Is a Negative Attack on Sanders

BLUMENTHAL: "Hillary Clinton has been a strong and most effective advocate. That’s one of the reasons why I support her. She’s been strong and effective advocate on other issues as well. I stood shoulder to shoulder with Bernie Sanders as a colleague in the Senate and worked closely with many of his supporters. I think we’ll come together on this issue of stopping gun violence, on universal background checks and illegal trafficking and banning small purchases. So I hope we’ll come together on this issue and so many others."
