Sheriff Clarke on Hillary Clinton’s ‘Hot Sauce’ Remarks: ‘I’m Surprised She Didn’t Say Watermelon’ (Breitbart)

Last week, Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton was asked during an interview on the New York City radio show “The Breakfast Club” what item she always carried with her.

Her response was “hot sauce.”

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Milwaukee Co. Sheriff David Clarke criticized Clinton for that answer and said if it were any other campaign, it would have derailed it.

“I’m surprised she didn’t say watermelon — just go all the way in,” Clarke said. “This stuff is dehumanizing. It’s embarrassing. It’s disgusting. And if any other candidate were to say something like that, some stereotype about black people, it would derail their campaign. But the rules seem to be different for the Clintons. You know, the folks she was being interviewed by, they saw right through it. That’s why they said they’re going to accuse you of pandering. They know it. Black people know they’re being pandered to. Nothing had gotten better.”
