Cruz Defends Opposing First Responders Bill: I Wasn’t Going to Fund Liberal Priorities

CRUZ: It was rolled in as Washington — the way Washington works they roll that in to that funded every single one of Obama’s priorities. You had to vote to fund ObamaCare. You had to vote to fund amnesty and bring refugees to this country. I wasn’t going to fund all these liberal priorities. If you had given me clean stand alone, I would have voted for it.
