Kasich: People Have a Sense that I Get Them

RUSH TRABSCRIPT:

O’REILLY: “You win Ohio and get delegates, right? OK? And Rubio says he’s going to win Florida.”
KASICH: “OK. We’ll see if he does.”
O’REILLY: “Do you think he will?”
KASICH: “I don’t know.”
O’REILLY: “You take from Rubio.”
KASICH: “No. No.”
O’REILLY: “If you weren’t in Virginia, he would have won.”
KASICH: “You go down and find out where voters are, I get people to think it’s between me and trump. Do you know why? People do have a sense I get them.”
O’REILLY: “You have to win here, though.”
KASICH: “No. I don’t have to win Michigan. I have to have a decent showing. And I’m going to win Ohio. Then, Pennsylvania and Illinois. Look. You guys counted me out from day one.”
O’REILLY: “I didn’t say you won’t get in.”
KASICH: “But I won’t get to New Hampshire, I’d run out of money.”
O’REILLY: “I didn’t say that.”
KASICH: “I won’t do well in New Hampshire.”
O’REILLY: “I said it won’t be your time in history because of the anger of the voter.”
KASICH: “Let me tell you this. You don’t beat Trump by getting into an insult war with him.”
O’REILLY: “You don’t think so?”
KASICH: “No. I think the only way is to have a vision bigger than his and be able to show your experience and accomplishments will pull people out.”
O’REILLY: “It hasn’t happened for you thus far.”
KASICH: “Well, it’s a long way to go. We’re not done yet. When I win Ohio, we’re probably going to end up in a convention, then, they’re going to pick an adult. Not a yeller.”
O’REILLY: “That is what it looks like now. Would you take VP?”
KASICH: “No, way. I have the second best job in the country, as governor. I once had the third best, host of the factor.”
O’REILLY: “You’re doing a great job in your home state of Ohio. You know your policy. I’m glad you’re running.”
KASICH: “People are watching the factor if you like John Kasich, make it known and tell O’Reilly, put me on more but don’t pick on me when I come on, OK?”
O’REILLY: “Good to see you, governor.”
